Shaving sharp out of the box. Only disappointment is the china stamp on the base of the blade and the general fit/ ease of use is not up to the standards I am used to with my previous old timer knives. it is a old timer bearhead trapper very nice looking knife, the tweezers and the scribe is like the usa made knife very good, the blades are sharp but when opened the blades have some wobble to them it should not effect the use of it, the wobble is why I rated it at three stars besides that I would recommend this one over a usa made one at the price, usa ones are going for about $75.00 plus on ebay a lot more than what I would pay.
